Children's Fund wins NEARI 5k

The NEARI Children's Fund relies on members, friends, and business associates to keep the dollars moving into the lives of our neediest students and their families. These folks were among the loyalists who participated Saturday, November 5, for the sixth annual NEARI 5K Run/ One Mile Walk for the Children’s Fund.
They braved a cool November wind off the water at Goddard Park to support the efforts of the Fund. And support they did - more than $5,000 was raised from entry fees and sponsor donations. Read the race results here.

Since 1985, the NEARI Children’s Fund has been a resource for members who encounter students and their families who are struggling to survive day to day. The Fund depends solely on donations and demand has grown tremendously during these tough economic times.
