New event! September 24 - Waterfire - 4:30-9:00 p.m.

Join the NEARI MVP Team at the September 24 Waterfire, dedicated to educators. We will be part of "special ops" crew, with duties that could include participating in the torch ceremony, handing out items to visitors, providing crowd control, or helping to light a Ring of Fire. Sign up here before all the slots are filled!

Join the NEARI MVP Team

Members who are part of the NEARI MVP Team are interested in taking a leadership role in the community by contributing their time and talent to worthy causes, benefiting students, families, and all Rhode Islanders. MVP events are created, organized, and directed by members like you, centered around the NEARI MVP Team Facebook group. Just post an idea, create an event, and gather some like-minded colleagues to join you!

As its first effort, the MVP Team organized a Halloween party for more than 100 students at the East Providence Boys and Girls Club. What a great start!
