NEARI will host a workshop to provide an update on RIDE's development of an evaluation instrument at the NEARI office on Thursday, October 21 from 5 to 7 PM. Jay Walsh, North Kingstown teacher who has a doctorate degree in education, has been serving as NEAERI's representative on the overview committee and will provide the update and major concerns. Each meeting of this committee continues to raise more questions and concerns than answers. We will also share the latest research and NEA's position on value added measures used to evaluate teachers.
