Close to 2,300 NEARI members listened in to the Tele-Town Hall last night as NEARI President Larry Purtill and Executive Director Bob Walsh talked pensions. The Treasurer and Governor are scheduled to release their legislation in the next two weeks and the legislature is scheduled to meet after Columbus Day but prior to the end of October. We are asking you to contact the Treasurer and Governor by phone and email to tell your story how the changes would impact you and how you have done your part and upheld your end of the bargain. They need to understand the impact of the changes they are proposing. All the information you need to contact them is here on the web site.
