Check out the article about the NEA RA here on this page. On behalf of over 3 million members, the RA sent a message to the East Providence school committee that they won't tolerate school committees and their lawyers who try to threaten collective bargaining. Val Lawson, the EP Teacher President, did a great job as always and many thanks to the Rhode Island delegates who worked extremely hard contacting other states and making sure they had the facts! There were no speakers opposed to the motion to support and in my 28 years of attending the RA, that is a rarity. Congrats and thanks!!!!!!!!
