Legislature to Meet in September

The Rhode Island legislature seems to finally have a definite date to return during the first week of September. After many rumors and being led to believe it would be this coming week, it now seems about 5 weeks away. The continuation of the contract bill is very much alive, calling for binding arbitration if no agreement is reached after a year. We will continue to lobby and push for it as it is the right solution to the issue!
