Making Rhode Island public schools great for every child!

After four months of waiting, the General Assembly is back in session tomorrow and again, one of the bills they may be considering is binding arbitration for teachers. It will end strikes, work to rule and eliminate expensive legal costs. While it is frustrating at this late date to still not have the actual bill, you need to continue to email and call your rep and senator and tell them to support binding arbitration. It is fair and everyone wins; teachers, parents, taxpayers and most importantly students. Do not let members of the legislature say they did not hear from you.
