Why McKee?

NEARI PACE endorsed Governor McKee for re-election. Here's why.
Published: August 18, 2026

RIPACE members voted to endorse Governor Dan McKee because he has delivered meaningful results for Rhode Island’s public schools, educators, public employees, retirees, and working families. He has demonstrated a willingness to keep working with us.

Governor McKee may not rely on “razzle-dazzle,” but he understands the job, has delivered concrete results, and wants to move public education and Rhode Island forward. RIPACE’s endorsement reflects both his record and our belief that he will continue working with us to improve the lives of our members, our students, and working families throughout the state.

NEARI Endorses McKee

"Our endorsement is something our members take very seriously," said Mullen. "Committee members asked thoughtful, challenging questions and carefully considered not only the candidates' positions, but also their willingness to engage in a meaningful dialogue and demonstrate a clear understanding of the issues affecting our members. We weren't looking for talking points, we were looking for leadership, honesty, and a proven commitment to public education and working families."
