The 2026 NEA Representative Assembly is Friday, July 3- Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in Denver, Colorado
Are you interested in participating in setting the priorities for the organization as a NEARI delegate? Any active NEARI member may seek the nomination to the Assembly as an at-large delegate or a regional delegate.
Statewide At-large delegate nominees must obtain 75 valid signatures, with at least 10 from NEARI members within each region and no more than 25 from any one local.
To be nominated as a regional delegate, according to the regions listed below, a nominee must obtain 50 valid signatures from NEARI members within the region. No more than 50 percent of signatures may be from one Local.
Nomination papers - due Thursday, January 15, 2026
Nomination papers are available at the links below. They will also be available at the December 8 Executive Committee meeting.
Completed nomination papers must be hand delivered or postmarked by Thursday, January 15, 2026. In other words, the original hard copy nomination papers with signatures must be turned in to Cheryl Hawes. If Cheryl is unavailable or out of the office, please leave them in her mailbox behind the reception area. Questions? Contact Cheryl.
