NEA Rhode Island affiliate lashes back at Secretary of Education
National Education Association Rhode Island (NEARI) President Larry Purtill expressed outrage today at U.S. Secretary of Education’s remarks to the nation’s governors against the parent NEA. Purtill used the words “outraged” and “extremely disappointed” in describing his reaction to Paige’s remarks.

NEARI opposes Regents proposal to lengthen the school day
