Join us for our 2025-2026 Book Club selection: The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood Is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness  by Jonathan Haidt.

About the Book

In The Anxious Generation, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt explores the rise of anxiety, depression, and mental health struggles among today’s youth. He examines how the shift from play-based childhoods to screen-based upbringings has reshaped development, friendships, and resilience. Haidt offers insights into what went wrong—and how we can take steps to support healthier growth, connection, and community.
