Next event! Oct 28 - Halloween Party, Newport Boys' & Girls' Club, 5-8 pm
Join the NEARI MVP Team October 28 in hosting a Halloween Party for the Newport Boys' & Girls' Club. We need volunteers to run games, paint faces, organize refreshments, hand out candy, and more. Come in costume or just bring your "spirit!" Help is also needed to help decorate the evening before. To sign up or get more info, contact Karen Jenkins at kjenkins@neari.org. Members who are part of the NEARI MVP Team are interested in taking a leadership role in the community by contributing their time and talent to worthy causes, benefiting students, families, and all Rhode Islanders. MVP events are created, organized, and directed by members like you, centered around the NEARI MVP Team Facebook group. Just post an idea, create an event, and gather some like-minded colleagues to join you!

As its first effort, the MVP Team organized a Halloween party for more than 100 students at the East Providence Boys and Girls Club. What a great start!
