South Kingstown 2023 Referendum
South Kingstown voters will decide to approve the proposed town council budget or approve a petition that will gut SK schools by $1.2M which will decimate public schools in the district.
On Tuesday, June 6, South Kingstown residents have a clear choice: support our kids and schools (by voting to approve the top option on the ballot); or cut $1.5 million from the school budget and decimate academic, athletic and arts programs (by voting to approve the bottom option on the ballot).
These cuts will be "devastating to the academic, athletic and arts programs. What is being cut is essential for what the community deserves."
- SK Superintendent Mark Prince
