NEARI PD brings you Summer Reading!

This summer, earn PLUs while reading a great book on creating a future where all people are recognized and valued. Get your book and pack it in your beach bag! We will discuss in a three-hour session on Thursday, August 7 from 9-12 at NEARI HQ. A light breakfast will be provided. Members who participate in this Summer Reading opportunity will receive 6 PLUs and a free copy of the book. Please note that if you cannot attend the August 7 session, you may be charged for the book.

What Kind of Citizen? by Joel Westheimer asks readers to think about ways to disrupt the status quo of the education system in order to create a more democratic mode of education in order to create a society that works toward the common good. It promises to be a great conversation piece!
