Rhode Island Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Holiday Commission Annual Essay Contest
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. State Holiday Commission is hosting their Annual Essay Contest for middle school and high school students.
The essay theme this year is “Marching to the Beat of Justice.” Cash prizes are awarded for each of the middle school and high school student first- and second-place finishers, and winners read their essays at the MLK State Commission Ceremony on January 15, 2024.
The deadline for the contest is December 15. Essays and Parental Permission forms can be submitted to: RIMLKESSAY@gmail.com.
