Cranston, R.I. (September 28, 2021) - The National Education Association Rhode Island Political Action Committee for Education (NEARI-PACE) unanimously endorsed Gregg Amore for Secretary of State at their meeting on Monday.

A longtime, active member of NEARI and the East Providence Education Association, Gregg has dedicated his career to history and civics as a teacher in East Providence. He has demonstrated leadership and an ability and willingness to collaborate as an athletic director and state representative.

“I’m thrilled the committee chose to enthusiastically endorse their colleague and fellow NEARI member Gregg Amore for RI Secretary of State,” said NEARI President Larry Purtill. “With experience, a sharp mind, and kind spirit, Gregg will achieve his vision of preserving our state history, securing safe elections and open government, and ensuring RI businesses can start up and continue successfully and make Rhode Island an even better place to live.”
